First opened as a Public Hall and Reading Room in 1894
The hall has been regularly modernised over the years

2011 saw extensive refurbishment. New windows, and installing a modern heating system, with solar panels providing the electricty for an air source heat pump. For the first time in over a century it will be warm winter and summer.

Opening times Tuesday afternoon 13:00 to 16:00
Thursday morning 9:30 - 12:30
Friday mornings 9:30 - 12:30
with thanks for continuing to operate throughout the building works
 

 

The Hall has a computer for use by both villagers and visitors.
drop in when the Post Office is open for tea, coffee and a chat
as well as computer use.
Free wifi - if you want to use your own laptop.
